Getting started
1. Install both apps
Install LappyConnect from Google Play and LappyConnect Companion on your Windows PC.
2. Use one network
Connect your Android phone and Windows computer to the same trusted local network.
3. Open the companion
Start the Windows companion and allow it through Windows Firewall on private networks.
4. Scan and pair
In the mobile app, select Connect desktop and scan the companion's pairing QR code.
Connection troubleshooting
- Confirm the phone and PC are on the same Wi-Fi or local network.
- Keep LappyConnect Companion open while pairing.
- Allow the companion through Windows Defender Firewall for private networks.
- Avoid guest Wi-Fi networks that isolate connected devices.
- Restart both apps and generate a fresh pairing QR code.
- Remove an old pairing from the phone and pair again if credentials changed.
Monthly and Lifetime Pro
Google Play securely handles all payments. If Pro does not activate after payment, keep the app open briefly while verification completes. Then sign in to the same LappyConnect account and select Restore purchases. The phone must use the Google Play account that originally purchased Pro.
To cancel Monthly Pro, open Google Play → profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → LappyConnect Pro. Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase and does not renew.

Email support@lappyconnect.com and include your phone model, Android version, Windows version, app version and a short description of what happened. Never send passwords, purchase tokens, private keys or pairing credentials.
