Overview
LappyConnect provides local remote-control features between an Android device and a Windows computer. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the app, create an account, purchase Pro access or contact support.
Data we collect
Account information: when you sign in, we may process your name, email address, profile picture, account identifier, account creation date, last login, app version and platform.
Purchase entitlement: we process product identifiers, purchase tokens, entitlement status and expiration information to verify Monthly Pro or Lifetime Pro. Google Play processes payment details; LappyConnect does not receive your full card or bank information.
Local connection data: pairing credentials, PC names, local network addresses and remote-control commands are used to establish and operate the connection. Trusted-PC credentials are stored securely on your device. Remote commands and file contents are not uploaded to the LappyConnect cloud service as part of normal local operation.
Support communications: if you contact us, we receive the information you provide in your message.
How we use information
- Authenticate your account and synchronize your Pro entitlement.
- Verify purchases with Google Play and prevent purchase misuse.
- Pair your phone and PC and provide requested remote-control features.
- Maintain security, troubleshoot problems and respond to support requests.
- Comply with applicable legal and platform requirements.
Service providers and sharing
We use Google Firebase for authentication, account records and entitlement storage, and Google Play for app distribution and billing. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Data retention
Account and entitlement records are retained while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide purchase restoration, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. A hashed purchase-claim record may be retained to prevent the same Google Play purchase from being linked to multiple accounts. Local pairing data remains on your device until you remove the paired PC, clear app data or uninstall the app. Support communications may be retained as needed to resolve the request.
Your choices
You may request deletion of your LappyConnect account and associated cloud profile from the app or through our account deletion page. Google Play purchase history may be retained and managed by Google independently. Deleting your LappyConnect account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription; subscriptions must be managed in Google Play.
Security and children
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted transport and secure local credential storage. No service can guarantee absolute security. LappyConnect is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above will be updated when material revisions are published.
